Christian Spanish Academy, the five star spanish school

Every year, we celebrate Independence Day in Guatemala with a Civil Event here at CSA.  This year it was on Friday, September 11th  inside of our building.  We made "periodicos murales" which are articles that give information about our country`s symbols, famous people , typical clothes and food, turistic and so on.  A group of teachers performed a dance called "Herencia Española" (Spanish Heitage), some other teachers recited poems to honor Guatemala, and a torch that represents liberty was displayed. There was also an exposition explaining the liberty that we have in our country. Then, the school band from "Colegio Tecnològico Moderno" (a private school) joined us with a special presentation of their talent with musical intruments. It has been recognized as one of the best school bands in the city.

At the end of this beautiful activity, we thanked all the teachers, students and friends by sharing delicious Guatemalan tamales.

Everybody at CSA loves Guatemala and everything that represents it, because we are the country. And, we are proud to be part of it.
